Let form fill with breath-essence to the top of the head, and there shower as light.
As the year reaches its darkest point, the Winter Solstice marks the turning towards longer, lighter days. Join me for a special afternoon of yoga, breath and deep rest — a chance to step out of the December rush and spend some unhurried time together.
In the Yoga Sūtra, Patañjali refers to the sun and to light as objects of meditation — practices that can steady the mind and open us to a deeper sense of inner clarity. We’ll explore these ideas through gentle, meditative movement and stillness.
The afternoon will include
Joyful, restful, breath-centred movement & postures
Breath workto release tension and help you feel refreshed
Space to awaken, enliven and renew
Time to rest deeply
There will also be an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company and, in the spirit of the season, to share a little warmth beyond the room.
£10 from every workshop booking will be donated to The Prison Phoenix Trusta charity that supports both prisons and yoga teachers to set up and maintain weekly yoga and meditation classes in prisons.
The workshop will be held in the small meeting room with limited places. Mats and props are provided, so just bring yourself and wear something comfortable and warm.
£50 per person Includes a £10 donation to The Prison Phoenix Trust
Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Come for the movement, stay for the mince pies, and leave feeling renewed. ✨
